Tecate Brewery
To learn more about the history and production of this drink originating from the Magic Town of Tecate, you can take a tour of the old factory. Through a guide, you’ll hear how it was created and how it became established in the Mexican market.
Walking through the plant, you’ll see that over 70 years of history explain why its red label with the black eagle is a symbol of quality. Tecate Brewery has been part of the local identity since the 1940s and is located in the town center, just a few steps from the main square. The Tecate brand, as its name suggests, was born in this Baja California municipality in 1944.
Tecate beer is of the Pilsen type, characterized by a robust body and balanced flavor, made with 100% natural ingredients, resulting in a unique taste. During the tour, you can also visit the Museum, which exhibits a wide variety of labels created by the largest brewing group in the country.
To end the visit, stroll through the gardens that adorn the plant and enjoy a delicious and frothy beer. Tours are conducted Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 16:00, and Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00.
