In the state of Coahuila de Zaragoza there is a beautiful and warm town that you will want to visit when we talk about it. It is Cuatro Cienegas, a Pueblo Mágico. It is a colonial village surrounded by a Protected Natural Area, with the same name.

 

This site belongs to one of the 38 municipalities of the state and it is located in the central region of the Coahuila/Chihuahua Desert. Here, you will find an enormous diversity of endemic flora and fauna. It has beautiful springs and lagoons that have the peculiarity of being surrounded by the desert.

 

This biosphere reserve will leave you enchanted with its beauty. It is definitely a true oasis in the desert. It is considered as a unique and fascinating ecosystem. So, get ready for a trip full of nature and adventures.

 

The location of Cuatro Cienegas is in the center of the state. It borders the municipality of Ramos Arizpe and the Magical Town of Parras de la Fuente on its south side and to the north, you will find the municipality of Ocampo.

 

The city was founded in 1761, but was destroyed on several occasions by groups belonging to the Coahuiltecas, so the process could not be concluded until 1800, when the dissident ethnic groups finally gave in to the conflict.

 

The weather is mostly warm with temperatures ranging between 62ºF and 71ºC, so this climate is ideal to visit some of its best tourist attractions.
