Nestled between mountains, it will amaze you with its landscapes of white houses and red roofs and the cobbled streets that you can walk in the company of your friends or family.

There is plenty sites with great stories in Taxco, all of them will transport you back to the historical past of its temples and squares. The atmosphere and the old houses will make you feel at home and amaze you at the same time.

When you are in the Historical Center of Taxco, you will have many options to visit, sightsee and learn. This town was declared a National Heritage Site for its historical monuments. One of the most visited sites in Taxco is the Cathedral of Santa Prisca, a Baroque-style Catholic enclosure, built by the mining businessman José de la Borda more than 250 years ago and which serves as a point of reference for travelers and locals.

This parish was built with quarry and it has not suffered any modification: it remains intact. The iconic church is adorned with two beautiful towers decorated in the purest Baroque style, although some places are kept simple and austere.

The temple can be seen from any angle in Taxco, and its tiled dome matches the beautiful façade. Entering this site is fascinating. Admire its marvelous golden altarpieces, richly decorated. You will be amazed by the contrast between the pink quarry and the gold with which the interior is covered.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner in the restaurants with terraces near Santa Prisca. Enjoy the local gastronomy and order one of the most representative dishes: pink mole. Make sure your view is clear so that you can appreciate it in all its splendor.

Lovers of sunny and hot days will enjoy visiting Taxco from March to July, on the other hand if you are looking for a cooler weather we recommend traveling from November to January.
