Get to know the Mazunte vibe

One of the best ways of having fun and enjoying the vibrant mood of Mazunte is by exploring one of its nearby beaches: San Agustinillo. This is the perfect spot for relaxing at the time you enjoy the coastal view of Oaxaca.

This beach is just 20 meters from the Historical Center of the town that bears the same name. Its limpid waters are perfect for walking or playing with children. You can also practice diving here.

Throughout the bay you can rent a kayak or a surf table. You can also take a boat ride. It’s a trip of about 3 hours where you will get to know the zone. If you come here from December to March, there’s a big chance of watching entire families of wales!

On the other hand, if you are in the mood for leisurely activities, we recommend you to stroll through the town streets. Near the beach you can even find yoga and meditation lessons. There are also Reiki massages and you can try the Temazcal

It is worth to say that San Agustinillo is a fishing village of about 300 inhabitants. It is a town full of hospitality and kindness. There are plenty of hotels and cottages around the zone for all budgets.
