Nestled in the valley of the Sierra Madre Occidental, Copala, Sinaloa, is a town that, through its history, immerses us in a magical world. Surrounded by endemic birds that lull you with their song, this place connects you to a past that lived in close harmony with nature.

Copala is located 64 kilometers east of the Mexican Pacific coast. With a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere, it invites you to stroll through its cobblestone streets and discover its architectural grandeur, rich history, culture, and delicious cuisine.

This town was founded in 1565 by the Spanish conqueror and captain Francisco de Ibarra, who also founded the municipality of El Fuerte.

While wandering through the center, make a stop at the Swan Fountain, locally known as "pila del pato," built during the colonial era to supply water to the inhabitants.

Walk along the Street of the Carriages, which was the exit to take the royal road to the villa of San Sebastián, now known as Ciudad Heroica de Concordia.

Visit the craft shops and take home a souvenir, like traditional masks that represent the town's history. Enjoy the local cuisine in the town's restaurants, with dishes such as ceviche, fish, tacos, and the traditional banana cream pie for dessert.
