Sonora is one of the largest states, located in the northwestern part of the country, bordered by Arizona (U.S.A) to the north, and by Sinaloa to the south.

This destination has a great variety of natural attractions such as the Sierra Madre Occidental, valleys, desert landscapes and heavenly beaches at the Gulf of California.

Hermosillo, its capital city, welcomes you with beautiful sunsets, which are very characteristic. That is why it is known as the City of the Sun. Admire its historic downtown and the Catedral Metropolitana de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, as well as the Plaza Zaragoza and the Plaza Bicentenario. Enjoy the variety of museums, restaurants, bars and coffee shops in the area. You will get the best views of the city from Cerro de la Campana.

The state is also distinguished by the beauty of its beaches, such is the case of Puerto Peñasco, which offers a wide variety of resorts and golf courses.
